Day 1

Guwahati (1 Night)

Our representative will meet you at Guwahati airport or railway station and will transfer you to the hotel. Spend the remaining day at leisure, followed by a comfy overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 2

Guwahati-Jorhat(2 Nights)

Post breakfast we will leave for Jorhat, the tea country. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening you are free to roam around Garh Ali, the main commercial hub of Jorhat town. Just walked into bylane locally known as Maarwari Gali, here you will be moving through the very narrow, congested and populated street that will lead you to little shops famous for North-East Indian fabrics and handicrafts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at Jorhat.

Day 3

Jorhat-Sivasagar-Jorhat

After breakfast we will go for an excursion to Sivasagar. The capital of Ahom dynasty, Sivasagar is situated 60 km away from the Jorhat. Here we will visit the remains of Ahom Kingdom. The Ahom dynasty ruled Assam for 600 years before the British took over. We will visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (Mummy like structures) of Ahom kings Burial grounds at Charaideo. The other remains of the Ahom Dynasty include man-made artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in 1734, Shivdol-the tallest Shiv temple in the world, palaces of Kareng Ghar & Talatal Ghar and Gaurisagar Tank, along with three temples. Later in the afternoon return to Jorhat. Fresh-n-up and then we will explore the nearby tea gardens. We will also visit the Gymkhana club in Jorhat, which was built in 1876 by D. Slimmon. It is well known as a venue for horse races. The club also holds a lush green 9-hole golf course circuit contending for a position in the "World Heritage List" as the oldest golf course in Asia ( it is presently considered as the third oldest in the world). The club also offers other facilities like lawn tennis grass courts, swimming pool, billiards, polo, gentleman's bar and cinema theatre. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Jorhat-Majuli-Kaziranga (3 Nights)

Today we will leave for the Kaziranga via Majuli. Drive up to the Nimati Ghat, the ferry point for Majuli. Upon reaching board the ferry for Majuli the biggest River Island in the world and seat of Baishnavite monasteries. We will cross-mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry to reach the historic island. Upon arrival, we will pay a visit to Satras. Later we will drive to Kaziranga. Transfer to a wildlife resort on reaching. Overnight stay at the resort at Kaziranga.

Day 5

Kaziranga National Park

Get up early for elephant safari into the forest. Our representative will take you to the elephant riding point by jeeps. Here we will be carried through the tall grass. Meanwhile the morning mists will slowly lift leading to an experience that one cannot forget easily. The elephant safari is the best mean for wildlife viewing as the wild animals are not afraid of the elephants and it is possible to observe them from very closely.Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast, we will go for jeep safari in the national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone.Later return to the resort for unwinding yourself and having lunch. After lunch we will go on our second jeep safari of the day, this time we will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spend some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone.Return to the resort for overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 6

Kaziranga National Park

Post breakfast we will board our jeep to the Central range of Kaziranga National Park. Later return to the resort for lunch. Thereafter, we will go on a birding trip to Burapahar range. Return to the resort by evening for dinner and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 7

Kaziranga-Tezpur (1 Night)

In the morning you are free to either enjoy a leisure walk along the river bank or visit the nearby rubber plantation. Later, after breakfast drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. Unwind yourself and then we will go for a local sightseeing tour of Tezpur.After fresh-n-up we will go on local sightseeing tour of Tezpur. Also known, as ‘The City of Blood’, Tezpur is a place steeped in mythology, legend and folklore. Situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tezpur.

Day 8

Tezpur-Guwahati (1 Night)

After breakfast we will leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the afternoon we will go on a local sightseeing tour and visit the famous Kamakhya Devi temple. Later, we will go on a river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra to catch a glimpse of soothing sunset. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Inclusions

  • Accommodation on Double/Triple sharing basis in above mentioned or similar category hotels.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner at Hotel only.
  • Land transportation (if you have chosen) from pick up till drop Station to Station or Airport to Airport or as per itinerary round trip and local sightseeing as per the itinerary.
  • Vehicle cost is including all fuel charges, Driver allowance, Border tax and Toll Tax, Parking and entry charges which is applicable as on day of quotation.

Exclusions

  • Any Airfare / Train fare is not included in the package cost.
  • Sightseeing Entry charges & camera charges.
  • Any expenses of personal nature like tips, phone calls, fax, internet, games, sauna, and steam, Jacuzzi, laundry, extra vehicle hire, bar, room heaters, discotheque or any other.
  • Pony/horse rides, boat rides, safaris, rafting charges, skiing/skating, and cable car/ropeway rides etc.
  • Extra food or beverages ordered or taken in hotel restaurant or room except buffet / fixed menu meal plan.
  • Vehicle will be allowed up to parking points & last possible points. (Subject to road & govt. conditions)
  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary / stay on account of bad weather, ill health, Road blocks or any factors beyond control.


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Before 40 days: 20% of the package cost
  • Between 39 to 29 days: 35% of the package cost.
  • Between 29 to 21 days: 65% of the package cost.
  • Between 20 days or less: NO REFUND

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favour of "Awaiting Adventures Tours and Travels"




NOTE

  • According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Driver’s License, Voters Card, Passport, and Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  • Please clarify total number of passenger including infant and child at the time of booking only, vehicle will be suggested and booked as per the given information only. Last movement no replacement of vehicle will be possible or allowed.
